Earlier this month, I had the privilege of presenting—together with my wonderful colleague, Prof. Doron Amsalem from Columbia University—a piece of our shared work at the European Congress of Psychiatry (EPA) in beautiful Madrid, Spain. In two separate presentations, we showed how something as everyday as social media—despite its well-known risks—can help ease the burden for youth coping with depression and childhood trauma.
